與舊表相比，新版詞匯表最顯著的變化是詞量增加。

1. 一些新增加的名詞具有明顯的時代特征，如時代特征app, podcast, wifi, bestseller等等，講生活與學科融為一體，體現(xiàn)了語言與時俱進、生活化。

所以，學習詞匯的最終目的是在句子中使用，我們從最后開始，要通過句子學習單詞，詞匯只能作為輔助，做復習和鞏固使用。

3. 對于新詞形的變化，在原始詞匯的基礎上，新表中添加了該詞的衍生詞。添加前綴或后綴，例如舊表中的前綴或后綴enjoy(v.)，在新表中增加了修改后的形enjoyable。
